Professor Kelly is fantastic and you cannot go wrong no matter which course you take with her. She is always willing to help students which is a big plus. My only complaint is she talks very fast through lecture...consider bringing your laptop.
Great teaching methods/approach

Kelly's Constitutional Law was great! She explained the cases clearly and gave enough detail to ensure that you don't have to read the cases. Her class consisted of 5 homework assignments based on in-class films which were easy, a midterm, and a final. For the exams, she gave a list of cases the week before to know and 2 possible essay questions. On the day of the exam, she picked 3 cases to write about and 1 of the 2 essays. She allowed a cheat sheat which was a great help. All-in-all an easy, yet informative class with a professor who has good command of the subject.

Cons: Notes/lecture is confusing
Professor Kelly is one of the best professors at UConn. You can tell that she really cares about her students, since she offers to explain your grades to you one-on-one. There is a midterm, final and participation in the form of monthly roll calls, and she lets you take in notes with you to the exam. Although, Constitutional Law is normally boring, she often connects it to current cases/situations and tries to engage students in discussion. Overall, I would def recommend Prof Kelly for POLS 256 and POLS/WS 204!!!
